The Saints survived their closest game yet when Washington all but handed them a 33-30 overtime win in a game they should have lost. Irregardless, the win moves them to 12-0, clinches the NFC South, and pretty much hands them home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Let the debate begin as to which team; Minnesota or New Orleans is the best team in the NFC. After watching both teams take apart yet another team right now I would call it a draw. Congratulations to Indianapolis for clinching the AFC South last week by beating Houston 35-24. With yet another come from behind win they have now run this season’s record to 11-0 and have won a record tying 20 consecutive regular season games. New Orleans and Minnesota continue to roll and with only six games remaining seem to be a lock to not only win their division, but secure home field advantage and a first round bye in the playoffs. The one thing that has remained constant in the first 12 weeks in the AFC is that the Colts always find a way to win. This is especially true the past few weeks.
