No. 21 Arizona (7-3, 4-3) at No. 1 Oregon (10-0, 7-0), 7 p.m., ESPN
The two biggest games in Oregon history are coming up. Should Oregon win this weekend, which I have little doubt they will not, they would clinch a BCS bowl berth. Nothing is a gimme however, as witnessed in last week’s 15-13 dogfight between Oregon at Cal. The Wildcats are much more solid defensively than the Golden Bears, faster and possesses standout QB Nick Foles.
Arizona dropped a close one to USC its last time out, falling behind early and coming up short on a late rally. Something they cannot afford to do against the Ducks, who if they do, will bury them.
The Wildcats have the rest advantage coming off a bye week, but the Ducks will be looking to prove something in front of the home crowd in preparation for next week’s Civil War Game at rivals Oregon State.
