New York Jets at New England Patriots
Sunday, January 16, 2011 at 4:30 pm ET on CBS
Pointspread: Patriots -9
Over/Under: 45 ½
The Jets need to find a way to correct all the things that went wrong in their 45-3 battering at the hands of New England the second time these two teams met this season. This is not the same team that New York pushed around in a 28-14 victory way back in Week 2 and head coach Rex Ryan knows it. If the Jets cannot find a way to effectively run the ball and chew up the clock against the Patriots’ defense, this game could get out of control in a hurry.

To make matters worse for New York, in the last five games of the season, New England’s defense gave up a total of 47 points.

There will be no early exit from the playoffs for Bill Belichick and Co. this season as New England makes a statement in this game.
