The New Orleans Saints will be looking for their third win in-a-row when they travel to Jacksonville for a Sunday afternoon matchup with the Jaguars at EverBank Field. Game time is set for 1 p.m. (ET) and it will be broadcast regionally on FOX.

New Orleans bounced back from a 42-34 loss to Green Bay as a 4.5-point road underdog on opening day with victories over Chicago and Houston. The Saints covered the spread in both games as home favorites and the total has gone ‘over’ in two of the three games overall.
Drew Brees once again has this offense humming with an average of 437.7 total yards and 34.7 points a game. Behind rookie running back Mark Ingram, New Orleans is averaging just under 100 yards a game on the ground, while Brees has the aerial attack ranked third in the league with 338 yards a game. Devery Henderson has led the way with 265 yards receiving and an impressive average of 22.1 yards per catch.
Jacksonville squeaked out a 16-14 victory in its opener over Tennessee as a two-point home underdog, but has dropped its last two to fall to 1-2 SU and ATS. The total has stayed ‘under’ in all three of its games so far.
Rookie quarterback Blaine Gabbert got the start for the Jaguars in this past Sunday’s game against Carolina for an ineffective Luke McCown, but the results were pretty much the same in an ugly 16-10 loss to the Panthers as 3.5-point road underdogs. The deluge of rain that plagued the game at times did not help his efforts to move the ball, but overall it was a forgettable debut for the first-round pick out of Missouri. Jacksonville’s offense is now ranked 28th overall and 31st in scoring, with an average of just 9.7 points a game.
New Orleans is 15-5 SU in its last 20 games on the road, but just 1-5 ATS in its last six away from the Superdome. The total has gone ‘over’ in five of these last six road games. Jacksonville is 1-5 both SU and ATS in its last six games overall and the total has stayed ‘under’ in four of its last five games.
There is no way the Jaguars offense can keep pace with New Orleans as this game should be decided by early in the second half.
