NHL Playoffs – Did the Devils Get a Reprieve or Is It Just Delaying The Inevitable?

The online sportsbooks were all hesitant to say that the Los Angeles Kings would sweep the Stanley Cup Finals because of what everyone knows about the New Jersey Devils. As long as Martin Brodeur is healthy and in net for the Devils, the New Jersey Devils will always be competitive. As the Triple Crown betting action inNew Jersey slows down just a bit to start taking action for game five of the Stanley Cup Finals, Devils’ fans may want to hold off on the celebrating just yet as this series is still firmly in the grasp of the Los Angeles Kings.

What happened to the Kings in game four? One of the advantages that the New Jersey Devils have over the Los Angeles Kings is that the Devils have a few players that know how to close out a Stanley Cup championship. The Kings is loaded with talented players, but there is no experience in this situation to help the Kings close the lid on this thing. In game four, the Kings almost looked like they were just going through the motions and could see the Stanley Cup being shined up out of the corner of their eyes. The Devils are able to stay focused on the game at hand, and that was a tremendous help toNew Jerseyin game four.

The bookmaker betting software may start to bend the odds ever so slightly in favor of the Devils for game five, but it seems highly unlikely that the Kings would make the same mistakes twice in the same series. The Los Angeles Kings may be a young team full of great talent, but it is also an extremely smart team. One of the reasons why the Kings have been able to get all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals is because it was able to learn the lessons it needed to learn to get past each team it faced. The loss in game four to the Devils will be the same kind of learning experience that the Kings have counted on all throughout the playoffs.

It is going to be difficult for the bet online fans of the Los Angeles Kings to have to watch their team skate the Stanley Cup around the Devils’ arena after winning it for the first time, but that looks like what will happen. The worst thing that the Kings can do is try to bring the series back toLos Angeles to win the Cup in front of its home fans. If that were to happen, the series would be 3-2 and the Devils become extremely dangerous.
The question is whether the Devils are back in the Stanley Cup Finals or did it just get a one game reprieve. Considering how the Kings have been able to adapt in these playoffs, it looks like the Devils got its one win and that will be it.
