Arizona Cardinals (-3) at Seattle Seahawks
The addition of Kevin Kolb at quarterback and the emergence of Beanie Wells as an every-down running back have the Cardinals’ offense back in gear. They have put up 49 points in their first two games after averaging just 18.1 points a game last season, which was ranked 31st in the league.
The Seahawks’ offense behind quarterback Tavaris Jackson has scored a total of 17 points in its first two games. Seattle has a combined 383 yards passing and 95 yards rushing so far this year.
This series has tended to be streaky over the past few years with the Seahawks winning both games last season both SU and ATS after the Cardinals won the previous four both SU and ATS. The favorite is 5-2 ATS in the last seven games.
The Pick: Arizona 24 Seattle 10

New England Patriots (-9) at Buffalo Bills
New England’s offense, led by Tom Brady, has put up a total of 73 points in its first two games, but its defense has given up 45. Brady has thrown for 940 yards and seven touchdowns so far and Wes Welker and Deion Branch have combined for 30 receptions for 461 yards.
The Bills have actually scored six points more that New England in a surprising 2-0 start. They put up 41 in their opener against Kansas City and rallied from a 21-3 deficit at halftime to knock-off Oakland 38-35 as three-point home favorites. Ryan Fitzpatrick has only thrown for 472 yards, but he has matched Brady with seven TD’s.
The Patriots are 5-1 ATS in their last six games against the AFC East and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games against the Bills. New England is 7-0 ATS in its last seven games in Buffalo and the road team in this series is a perfect 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings.
The Pick: New England 34 Buffalo 24

Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2)
The Falcons’ offense only managed to score two field goals in a dreadful 30-12 opening day loss to Chicago as one-point road favorites, but exploded for 35 points this past Sunday night in a four-point win over Philadelphia as 2.5-point home underdogs.
The Buccaneers fell to the up-start Detroit Lions 27-20 as one-point favorites in their home opener and barely avoided falling into a 0-2 hole with a furious second-half rally to pull out a 24-20 win over Minnesota as one-point road underdogs.
Atlanta might be 6-2 ATS in its last eight games against the NFC South but it is just 2-6 ATS in its last eight games against Tampa Bay. The favorite has dominated this series in recent memory with a 7-3 record in the last 10 meetings.
The Pick: Tampa Bay 23 Atlanta 20
