The highlight of Week 2 in the 2009 NFL Football Season is the debut of new amazing Dallas Cowboys Stadium in primetime against division rival the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. The Cowboy faithful can’t wait to get a seat in the highly anticipated Stadium. The big question in week two is, how will Dallas handle the disappoint at the end of the ’08 season, which ended with 2 straight losses knocking them out of the playoff picture. Will Dallas rebound in ’09 in the new Stadium? Our NFL Week 2 preview, features Buffalo Bills fans getting their first regular season look at Terrell Owens at home. Buffalo fans have waiting for years to an explosive big time player like T.O. Is he the missing piece that can spark a Buffalo offense that has struggled throughout the years? Or will he discrupt the team with the off the field antics we have come to expect over the years? In NFL Week 2, the Denver Broncos have their first home game and fan will get a chance to cheer on new QB Kyle Orton and head coach Josh McDaniels. Denver finished the ’08 season with an 8-8 record, if they finish worse then that in ’09 McDaniels might get the boot, but last week they came up with big win.

Sunday, September 20, 1:00 pm on CBC
Carolina Panthers @ Atlanta Falcons
These 2 divisional rivals are coming off playoff appearances from last season with Carolina winning the NFC South title. This off season Carolina was able to keep DE Julius Peppers and the Falcons acquired TE Tony Gonzalez. This battle will be decided on whether the Carolina Panthers defense can stop a balanced Atlanta Falcons offense. Our prediction is QB Matt Ryan make enough big plays in the end to give Atlanta a victory at home.
Sunday September 20, 1:00 pm on FOX
Minnesota Vikings @ Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions will be trying to break an epic losing streak when they host their divisional rival the Minnesota Vikings. The Lions are winnless from last year and just took a beating by the New Orleans Saints last week. Minnesota will continue to hand the ball to RB Adrian Peterson and control the ball as they runover the inferior Lions. The Lions won’t break their streak this week, guaranteed.
Sunday September 20, 1:00 pm on CBS
Cincinnati Bengals @ Green Bay Packers
The Bengals have a healthy QB Carson Palmer and a motivated WR Chad Johnson, but it will not be enough for Cincinati to come way with a win in Green Bay. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers will make big plays and the new impressive Packers D will be solid once again as the Packers pick up another win.
Sunday September 20, 1:00 pm on CBS
Oakland Raiders @ Kansas City Chiefs
The Raiders and Chiefs have one of the longest rivalries in the NFL. Both teams posted wins on the road against eachter last season. The Oakland offense and JaMarcus Russell will be able to move the ball against the young Kansas City secondary. Kansas City will not have enough on offense to stay with the Raiders at home.
Sunday September 20, 1:00 pm on CBS
New England Patriots @ New York Jets
New York QB Mark Sanchez adjusted to the NFL quickly in week 1. But it might be a different story against the New England Patriots. Tom Brady will brush off the rust from last week and have a big game. Sanchez and the Jets will not be able to put up enough points against the Pats in week 2. The New England D will force the rookie into to many mistakes and turnovers. Our prediction, New England dominants the game with an easy win.
Sunday September 20, 1:00 pm on FOX
New Orleans Saints @ Philadelphia Eagles
This game features two of the top teams in the NFC. Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints showed off their explosive offense last week against Detroit, and threw up a leauge high 45 points. The Eagles are going to struggle without injured QB Donovan McNabb on offense. This game will still go down to the wire but the Saints will make enough plays and earn a road win at Philly.
Sunday September 20, 1:00 pm on FOX
St. Louis Rams @ Washington Redskins
In this Week 2 match up, St. Louis will struggle offensivly to move the ball against a solid Washington defense. The Redskins defensive line will be too much and dominat the line of scrimmage. Washington Redskins RB Clinton Portis will make some big plays on offense for an easy home win.
Sunday September 20, 1:00 pm on FOX
Arizona Cardinals @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Arizona will to get their offense back on track when they play Jacksonville. Jaguar RB Maurice Jones-Drew will make some big plays to keep them close at home. But Arizona will have too much offensively for the Jags to handle and will win a close game down the stretch.
Sunday September 20, 4:05 pm on CBS
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Buffalo Bills
The Buccaneers will travel cross country to face a Buffalo Bills team that lost a close one to New England. Tampa Bay will stuggle on offense and will be unable to slow Buffalo’s offense down to stay in the game. This will be the first time that the Buffalo faithful will get a chance to see TO in action and look for him to get more then two passes and have a big game leading his team to their first win in ’09.
Sunday September 20, 4:05 pm on FOX
Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers had a big time win over Arizona last week. Seattle showed that they are a much better team with a healthy Matt Hasselbeck running the team behind center. This game will be a close one, but we see San Francisco pulling out a close one at home.
Sunday September 20, 4:15 pm on CBS
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Chicago Bears
Bears QB Jay Cutler could not have a had a worse debut for his new team against Packers at Green Bay. Now he will have to face the leagues toughest defense in his home opener. Big Ben will face a Bears defense that is without Brian Urlacher who is out for the season. The Steelers running game did nothing against the Titans in Week 1, and won’t do much better against Chicago. We predict the Steelers to throw the ball and make enough big plays for a road victory.
Sunday September 20, 4:15 pm on CBS
Baltimore Ravens @ San Diego Chargers
San Diego’s LaDainian Tomlinson was roughed up against Oakland, as they escaped Oakland with a victory Monday Night. The Baltimore Ravens should be better then what they showed last week against the Chiefs. In Week 1, these two teams are pulled out some ugle wins, but we see the Chargers winning a close one at home.
Sunday September 20, 4:15 pm on CBS
Cleveland Browns @ Denver Broncos
This game features two first year Head Coaches with Cleveland’s Eric Mangini and Denver’s Josh McDaniels. The Broncos beat Cincinnati last week in the final seconds. And we think their winning streak will continue as Eddie Royal will have a good game catching passes from Kyle Orton as he picks up on the new offense.
Sunday September 20, 8:20 pm on NBC
New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys
Quarterbacks Tony Romo and Eli Manning will go at it in this NFC East matchup in Dallas to open up the new stadium on Sunday Night Football. With a primetime tv audience and 100,000+ fans expected in the seats, the Giants D will be tested againts a Dallas Cowboy offense that was very impressive last week. With Eli Manning working with a group of unproven receivers, we look for Dallas to win this one and open up the new stadium with a victory.
Monday September 21, 8:30 pm on ESPN
Indianapolis Colts @ Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins host Indianapolis on Monday Night Football and try to slow down Peyton Manning and the Colts who are without Anthony Gonzalez for the rest of the year. The Dolphins will make some big plays early to keep the game close. But we think Peyton Manning will be too much for Dolphin defense. Look for Indianapolis to pull out a close one on the road for a win.
