What started out as a promising season for the St. Louis Rams is turning into a disaster. The online sportsbook experts know that it is not fair to expect new head coach Jeff Fisher to turn the Rams completely around in half of a season. The St. Louis Rams have some serious deficiencies on defense that the team will need to address through the draft and free agency. Quarterback Sam Bradford still needs to be surrounded by real weapons that he can use to stretch out the field and keep the opposing pass rush out of his face. The season started out promising for the Rams, but the problems are starting to show through.
The San Francisco 49ers managed to survive the early push by the Arizona Cardinals and now the 49ers can watch as the Cardinals drift back into mediocrity. But the betting sites are not so sure that those pesky Seattle Seahawks are going to be going away any time soon. San Francisco has been dying for a divisional game where it can show the rest of the NFC West that the division is not up for grabs. The Rams have improved just enough where the 49ers can use St. Louis to make that very important statement.

The first thing that Jeff Fisher wanted to do was get Sam Bradford his confidence back. Now that Bradford is becoming a legitimate leader on the team, Fisher can start to focus on evaluating talent in other areas and deciding who he is going to keep and who is on the way out. In the meantime, the Rams continue to slowly get better as Fisher starts to work his magic.

The 49ers did not expect the NFC West to be so competitive this year, but that is not to say that San Francisco is not prepared for it. A bodog review of the Seahawks shows that there is a good defense in Seattle but a young offense. The 49ers want to use this game against the Rams to show what the San Francisco defense thinks of developing young offenses. San Francisco will play an extremely physical game against the Rams as the 49ers look to put its foot down in the NFC West standings.
The Bottom Line
The Rams are a little better equipped to handle this game than it was last season, but that does not mean that St. Louis will have much of a chance. Jeff Fisher is just looking for a strong effort from his team, but the realistic outcome of this game will be a San Francisco win.
