The Lions have had three years to realize that its childish antics are not going to open any doors in the NFL, and it is obvious that Detroit has not learned its lesson. Now the Lions get a chance to face a team of rookies from Indianapolis that have the poise and character that it takes to win in the NFL. The Lions could learn a lot from the Colts.
The online betting experts have also questioned whether or not Jim Schwartz is the right coach for a team like the Lions. Schwartz himself has had irrational and immature reactions to activities on the field, and he has shown no ability to infuse a sense of responsibility into his players. The young Colts have had to watch as their head coach Chuck Pagano was forced to fight for his life against leukemia. When offensive coordinator Bruce Arians took over as interim head coach, the Colts reacted with respect and the result has been a winning record. These are definitely two teams headed in different directions.

There is not a person in the online bookie community who will deny that the Detroit Lions has the talent to be a Super Bowl contender. The problem is that the Lions allow a lack of discipline to consume it and that costs it games. The team takes more personal foul penalties than most other teams and the constant lack of focus has caused more than one turnover. The Colts’ players have rallied around fallen head coach Chuck Pagano and interim head coach Bruce Arians to put together a playoff caliber season.
