NFC Top 3 Matchups-Week 15
There are only three weeks left in the 2010 NFL regular season and every division in the NFC remains completely up for grabs. The Eagles and Giants are tied atop the East at 9-4. The Falcons lead the South at 11-2, but the Saints continue to stay right behind them at 10-3, with the Buccaneers mathematically alive at 8-5. The Bears are 9-4 and have a one game lead over the 8-5 Packers in the North. The West is wide-open with the Seahawks and Rams tied at 6-7 and the 49ers amazingly still alive at 5-8.
Here is a look at my top three matchups in the NFC for Week 15 of the NFL season. All odds are provided by BetUs.com.

Philadelphia @ New York (-3) Over/Under: 46
The Eagles have the edge heading into this NFC East showdown having already beaten New York 27-17 in Week 11. They also have the No.1-ranked offense in the league led by QB Michael Vick. The only cause for concern will be Philadelphia’s ability to stop the Giants’ running game.
The Giants are basically in a must-win situation. Not only to keep their division title hopes alive, but their playoff hopes as well. A win in this game will still be a tall task since they have not been able to beat the Eagles in five previous meetings.
Philadelphia is 5-0 ATS in its last five games against the Giants and the underdog is 10-2 ATS in the last 12 meetings. New York is 4-9 ATS in its last 13 home games. This one will be a battle to the end and a possible ‘push’ if the line stays where it is at with the Eagles winning by three.
Atlanta (-6) @ Seattle Over/Under: 45 ½
The Falcons have been rolling through the season with the best record in the NFC, but they have not clinched anything yet. The key to this week’s game is to not get caught looking ahead to next week’s showdown with New Orleans.
The Seahawks are in their comfort zone playing at home where they are 4-2 this year. A loss still keeps them in race for the NFC West title, but a win would prove that they actually deserve to win it and belong in the playoffs.
Atlanta is 5-1 ATS in its last six road games and 5-0 ATS in its last five games overall. The total has gone ‘over’ in six of the Falcons last eight games overall. Seattle is 1-5 ATS in its last six games as an underdog and 2-5 ATS in its last seven overall. The Falcons will not get derailed with a loss, but take Seattle to keep the game closer than six points.
Chicago @ Minnesota (OFF) Over/Under: OFF
The Bears have to quickly put last week’s 36-7 loss to New England behind them and get a win over Minnesota no matter where the game is played. They finish the season at home against the N.J. Jets and on the road at Green Bay so there is little margin for error.
The Vikings would love nothing more than knocking off Chicago out in the frigid elements of TCF Bank Stadium at the University of Minnesota to bring back memories of all the classic games between these two teams at Metropolitan Stadium in Bloomington.
Chicago is 1-4 ATS in its last five games in Minnesota. The home team is 13-3 ATS in the last 16 meetings, but Minnesota is 2-6 ATS in its last eight overall. All bets are currently off in this one due to a number of factors, but do not be surprised if the Vikings pull off an outright win over their longtime rival.
