NFC Top 3 Matchups – Week 13
There are only five weeks left in the 2010 NFL regular season and every division in the NFC remains completely up for grabs. The Eagles and Giants are tied atop the East at 7-4 with the Redskins still hanging around at 5-6. The Falcons lead the South at 9-2, but the Saints (8-3) and Buccaneers (7-4) remain firmly in the hunt. The Bears are 8-3 and have a one game lead over the 7-4 Packers in the North. The West is wide-open with the Seahawks and Rams tied at 5-6 and the 49ers just one game back at 4-7.
Here is a look at my top three matchups in the NFC for Week 13 of the NFL season. All odds are provided by BetUs.com.

Washington @ New York (-7) Over/Under 43 ½
The Redskins’ 17-13 loss to Minnesota last week puts them in basically a must-win situation against New York this week. Washington’s offense has been inconsistent this season but its defense has been downright bad. Overall, it is ranked dead last in the league and 25th in points allowed.
The Giants needed a fourth quarter rally to pull out a 24-20 win over Jacksonville last week, halting a two game skid. Their defense is still ranked second overall, but has given up a total of 80 points in the last three games after giving up an average of 20 points in their first eight.
Washington is 1-4-1 ATS in its last six road games against the Giants. New York is 4-10 ATS in its last 14 games as a favorite. The total has stayed ‘under’ in six of the last seven games played in New York. Redskins lose a close one, but still cover with the seven points.
San Francisco @ Green Bay (-10) Over/Under 41 ½
The 49ers survived a disastrous 0-5 start and have now won four out of their last six games. Fourth year QB Troy Smith has only completed 55.4 percent of his passes and thrown just three touchdowns passes but is 3-1 as the starter.
The Packers will look to rebound from last week’s 20-17 last second loss to Atlanta that snapped a four game winning streak. Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers has already thrown for 2,945 yards and 20 TD’s, but he also has thrown nine interceptions after only throwing seven all last year.
San Francisco is 1-8-2 ATS in its last 11 games against the Packers and 1-4-1 ATS in its last six games in Green Bay. The total has stayed ‘under’ in five of the 49ers last eight road games and in eight of the Packers last 11 games overall. It is December so that means that Green Bay gets back to business with a dominating win at home.
Atlanta (-3) @ Tampa Bay Over/Under 43 ½
The Falcons can take another big step towards securing one of the top two spots in the conference playoffs with a season sweep of Tampa Bay this Sunday. QB Matt Ryan has completed 64.7 percent of his passes for 2,715 yards, but even more impressive is his 19 touchdown passes against just five interceptions.
The Buccaneers are in danger of letting a promising season slip away if they cannot find a way to win this week. All seven of their wins this season have come against teams with a losing record and they have been outscored 113-50 in their four losses this season.
Atlanta is 6-2 ATS in its last eight road games but just 1-6 ATS in its last seven games against the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay is 5-0 ATS in its last five game overall. The total has stayed ‘under’ in four of the last five meetings. The Bucs are in perfect position to take advantage of a potential letdown on the road by the Falcons.
