The Colts (3-0), despite some weaknesses, look very strong right now. They shouldn’t have a very difficult time with the Seahawks (1-2), especially with Matt Hasselbeck unlikely to play. Sportsbook bettors should expect a rout in this one.

The Colts have rolled up three straight victories but there are some concerns on offense. The running game isn’t getting it done and, while Peyton Manning is averaging 327 yards a game, he can’t be counted on to do that every week. Most weeks, but not every one. Whatever Joseph Addai had in his first two seasons in the NFL, he’s lost it. He’s averaging just 45 yards per game on the ground right now and the Colts are blatantly trying to get rookie Donald Brown involved on offense more.
Coming off a strong effort against the NFC Champion Cardinals, the Colts “D” will be expected to keep making big plays. Indy created three turnovers against Arizona while sacking Kurt Warner four times. That pressure could be curtailed somewhat this week, though, as Dwight Freeney will missed the next two or three weeks with a quad injury. Somebody is going to have to step up, as Robert Mathis will likely face a slew of double teams.
The Jim Mora Era, after a brilliant start against St. Louis, has taken a turn for the worse. With two straight losses and a date with the powerful Colts, we’re betting management in Seattle is worried. The offense was already in disarray because of a struggling ground game—Julius Jones and Edgerrin James aren’t exactly Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw—and quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is still dealing with a rib injury. Seneca Wallace will likely get the call in NFL Week 4 betting.
On the other side of the football, a Week 1 shutout of the Rams is a distant memory. Frank Gore gashed the Rams for over 200 yards in Week 2, while last week Seattle allowed a touchdown (and two-point conversion) with less than two minutes left to lose the game. The Seahawks did apply some decent pressure on Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler last week, but they’ll need a lot more than that to rattle Peyton Manning.
This is a bad mismatch for Seattle. The Colts offense, despite a lack of running game, is winging the ball all over the field. And considering Hasselbeck is either out or unhealthy, the Colts shouldn’t have much trouble doing to him what they did to Kurt Warner last week. Playing at home in front of a rabid Indianapolis crowd, this game has Colts blowout written all over your NFL predictions.
