New York Jets @ Miami Dolphins (-2) Over/Under: 35
Miami is off to a 2-0 start with wins over Buffalo and Minnesota. The only problem is other than being able to run the ball, the Dolphins have no offense what so ever to speak of. They cannot keep on relying on their defense and turnovers to win games.
New York definitely showed some signs of life in its impressive win over New England last Sunday. QB Mark Sanchez finally developed a vertical passing game, throwing for 220 yards and three TD’s. Just when the Jets appear to be back on track, WR Braylon Edwards gets a DUI and CB Darrelle Revis is strapped with a strained left hamstring.
This game is setting up to be a ‘third yards and a cloud of dust’ kind of affair that will be decided by which team has the better field goal kicker (which happens to be the Jets).
