The Houston Texans took steps forward with their first winning season in 2009. A few close losses were the difference between the playoffs and an early vacation, but continued progress could bridge that gap in 2010. However, the Texans play the league’s toughest schedule. Home games against the New York Giants and Kansas City Chiefs precede a Week 7 bye, meaning the Texans should be well-rested before getting their second crack at the Colts. Beginning in Week 13, the Texans are scheduled to play three of four games on the road.
