The Fins are coming off 10-days rest after being shut out against Chicago at home, while Oakland’s streak ended with a tough loss at Heinz field.
Miami’s Tyler Thigpen will get another crack at it, and I expect a better performance this week.
The Dolphins and the Raiders are both strong against the pass. Miami is ranked 5th in the league allowing just 196.8 passing yards per game while Oakland is a tad better, ranking 4th allowing 193.2. This game is going to be a ground battle.
The Dolphins must take advantage of the 25th ranked Oakland run defense, while trying to stop the Raiders 2nd ranked running game in the league behind Darren McFadden and Michael Bush who are tallying 152.1 yards per game on the ground.
