The 2-9 Bengals could very well be the worst team in the league, especially on defense. They are ranked 20th overall and 28th in points allowed. Cincinnati is giving up an average of 26.8 points per game for the season, but has given up an average of 36.3 in its past three games.
No one can deny the toughness of Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, who played last week with a broken bone in his foot. This week he will be back after undergoing surgery for the broken nose he received in that game. Bottom line is; he is playing no matter what, which is bad news for Cincinnati.
The total has gone ‘over’ in six of the last eight meetings in Pittsburgh and in four of the last five meetings overall.
The odds makers have the Cincinnati as a -8.5 point favorite with an over/under of 39.5.
