Welcome to the best and most complete 2010 AFC South Season Preview available online. The teams making up the 2010 AFC South are the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tennessee Titans. Last season the Indianapolis Colts won the AFC East with a 14-2 record, and flirted with a 16-0 record until the Colts Coaches and GM decided to rest their super stars for the playoffs. And it seemed like the right call, until the Colts lost to the New Orleans Saints 31-17 in Super Bowl XLIV. Houston almost made the playoffs by winning their last four games to end the season 9-7. While the Tennessee Titans (8-8) and Jacksonville Jaguars (7-9) watched the playoffs from the comfort of their own homes. Now that the 2010-2011 season is approaching, here are our season AFC South team previews & predictions from the top NFL handicappers.
2010 Houston Texans Preview
In 2009 Houston won their final four regular season games to finish over .500 for the first time in franchise history. With one of the highest powered offenses in the league and a solid defense, they are hoping to build off of last year’s late season success to finally make the postseason in 2010. If they can find a way to improve on a 1-5 record in the division, they should be on their way.

2010 Indianapolis Colts Preview
Given the fact that Peyton Manning is still the quarterback and for the most part last year’s roster has remained intact, there is no reason to believe that Indianapolis will not be right back on top in the South in 2010. One thing this organization knows how to do is win as they have won 10 or more games eight straight seasons and have won the division six of those years.

2010 Jacksonville Jaguars Preview
The Jaguars problems are wide spread as they ended last year ranked 24th in both total points scored and total points allowed. They are a franchise heading in the wrong direction. With a suspect QB and a porous defense the prospect for a turnaround in 2010 does not look promising at this point.

2010 Tennessee Titans Preview
With Vince Young back at quarterback and RB Chris Johnson in the backfield they managed to crawl back to .500 but the long term damage was already done. They question now is which team will show up in 2010? Fisher is entering his 16th season as the Titans head coach and one thing he has shown over the years is the ability to quickly overcome adversity. After last season’s embarrassing start he will have this team ready to go in 2010. It will be up to Vince Young to see how far he can take them.
