USC (7-5, 4-4) at UCLA (4-7, 2-6), 10:30 p.m., FSN
If Lane Kiffin thinks he’s had a long year, losing to cross town rival the UCLA Bruins will make the offseason even longer.
Fans will say goodbye to the PAC-10 conference after 33 years when the two teams close out the season, making way for the new PAC-12 in 2011.
Ironically, USC and UCLA also played the final game in the history of the Pac-8 back on November 25, 1977, the Friday after Thanksgiving.
A win for the Bruins would go along way for Rick Neuheisel who has also had a tough season at the helm.
Since the USC defense has had its share of narrow escapes –fading away late in game — and considering the Bruins decent rushing attack, I’m calling this the upset pick of the week.
End your PAC-10 college football-betting season by taking the Bruins and the points this one.
