At the beginning of the season this was thought to be an important showdown game. Now it is pretty much an after thought. No one is giving the Buckeyes much consideration these days and the Nittany Lions are in the great abyss of mediocrity. For Ohio State they need a sharp game against a name team to try and improve their BCS standing. They only have one loss but are behind 4 other teams with the same record in the BCS including Wisconsin who beat them. OSU doesn’t usually have much trouble with PSU but it should be noted that they lost to the Nittany Lions at the Horseshoe two year ago in a low scoring affari 13-6. That is the only chance JoePa’s squad has this year and it isn’t much of one. This one should be a rout.
