What a great week of football. Goodness. Where do we begin? Gotta be in Columbia, Mo., where ABC will broadcast a game between BCS No. 1 Oklahoma and No. 11 Missouri, a game with national title implications. Earlier in the day, also on ABC, you can catch a make-or-break game between No. 16 Nebraska and No. 14 Oklahoma State, where a loss could seriously derail league title hopes for either team. Let’s do this!

vs.

Iowa State @ #19 Texas – 12:00 PM ET

Perfect follow-up game for the Longhorns after last week’s win over Nebraska. Iowa State has one of the toughest schedules in the nation and the meat of it comes to an end in Lincoln. Texas will have its chest siginificantly pumped up, and will blow, blow, blow the Cyclones out of town.

Prediction: Texas by 28 – Bet Now

Odds: Iowa State: +21 – Texas: -21 Over/Under: 48

vs.

Texas Tech @ Colorado – 3:30 PM ET

The Dan Hawkins Death March continues, with rumors of CU coaching candidates already swirling. Texas Tech is a decidedly different (worse) team under Tommy Tuberville, which does give the Buffs a shot.

Prediction: Texas Tech by 3 – Bet Now

Odds: Texas Tech: -2.5 – Colorado: +2.5 Over/Under: 57

vs.

#22 Kansas State @ Baylor – 3:30 PM ET

Lots on the line in Waco with a resurgent Kansas State team that walloped KU last week and probably the best team Baylor has trotted out in a couple of decades. If the Wildcats can get running back Daniel Thomas in a groove early they’ll eat up enough clock to put the Bears in tough spots. If Baylor QB Robert Griffin gets rolling, that could mean problems for a suspect K-State defense. Winner gets bowl eligiible.

Prediction: Kansas State by 6 – Bet Now

Odds: Kansas State: +6 – Baylor: -6 Over/Under: 59

vs.

#16 Nebraska @ #14 Oklahoma State – 3:30 PM ET on ABC

Has there ever been a coach who got more credit for doing less than Nebraska’s Bo Pelini? He made a massive mistake pulling Taylor Martinez in last week’s loss to Texas and we’ll see how much he wrecked the freshman’s confidence when they get to Stillwater. We’re guessing it’s a lot. Prediction: Oklahoma State by 7.

Prediction: Oklahoma State by 7 – Bet Now

Odds: Nebraska: -5.5 – Oklahoma State: +5.5 Over/Under: 60

vs.

Texas A&M @ Kansas – 7:00 PM ET

Two of the biggest jokes in the Big 12 go at it right here. Aggies posed like contenders all offseason on the strength of QB Jerrod Johnson but JJ’s a fraud and Mike Sherman is still their coach. Good news for A&M is KU might be worst DI team in America.

Prediction: Texas A&M by 21 – Bet Now

Odds: Texas A&M: -14 – Kansas: +14 Over/Under: 53.5

vs.

#1 Oklahoma @ #11 Missouri – 8:00 PM ET on ABC

And here we go. To many people’s chagrin, the Sooners topped the first BCS poll after escaping through the first part of the season unbeaten. The difference between OU and Mizzou is simple – Sooners have been tested and the Tigers have played nothing but creampuffs.

Prediction: Oklahoma by 14 – Bet Now

Odds: Oklahoma: -3 – Missouri: +3 Over/Under: 52
