The big game this weekend is Thursday, and it involves two old rivals playing for the last time as conference opponents. That’s right – it’s Kansas State versus Nebraska, with both teams undefeated on ESPN Thursday night. Or as they like to call it in the Midwest: Party like it’s 1998. If you want a couple of interesting games on Saturday, you’re fine too, with No. 11 Arkansas versus Texas A&M at the Jerry Dome. Colorado-Missouri and Baylor-Texas Tech shouldn’t be bad to watch, either.

#7 Nebraska @ Kansas State – 7:30 PM ET – ESPN
Nebraska’s job is simple: Stop Kansas State running back Daniel Thomas and make the rest of the Wildcats beat them. Thomas is one of the nation’s leading rushers and can get yards out of both traditional sets and the Wildcat. For Kansas State, shutting down Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez, a superstar in the making, will be the key. Something’s got to give.
Prediction: Nebraska by 10 – Bet Now
Odds: Nebraska: -12 – Kansas State: +12 – Over/Under: 51

#22 Oklahoma State @ Louisiana-Lafayette – 9:00 PM ET – ESPN2
Oklahoma State’s struggles with the Sun Belt Conference are well-documented over the last couple of years, but the Cowboys seem to have found some gusto with a come-from-behind win over Texas A&M last week and a spot in the national rankings. Like the song says: Don’t stop ‘til you get enough.
Prediction: Oklahoma State by 14 – Bet Now
Odds: Oklahoma State: -24 – Louisiana-Lafayette: +24 – Over/Under: 62

Baylor vs. Texas Tech – 12:00 PM ET
Two teams on the opposite ends of the heat spectrum. Baylor is coming off a 55-7 win over Kansas thanks to a career day from quarterback Robert Griffin III and Texas Tech is coming off of one of its most demoralizing wins in the last decade after giving up 52 points in a loss at Iowa State. With homefield advantage null because the two teams are playing in Dallas, we say…
Prediction: Baylor by 7 – Bet Now
Odds: Baylor: +2.5 – Texas Tech: -2.5 – Over/Under: 62

#11 Arkansas vs Texas A&M – 3:30 PM ET on ABC
Welcome to the Jerry Dome. Texas A&M has sold itself as a potential mover and shaker in the Big 12 South all offseason, but got exposed in its lost at Oklahoma State last week when quarterback Jerrod Johnson looked absolutely horrid. Getting the Hogs in the stadium owned by their biggest booster does the Aggies no favors. Goodnight now!
Prediction: Arkansas by 20 – Bet Now
Odds: Arkansas: -6 – Texas A&M: +6 – Over/Under: 61.5

Colorado @ #24 Missouri – 7:00 PM ET
How about those idiotic Colorado fans that stormed the field after last Saturday’s win over 1-4 Georgia? Wow. But here’s thing. No matter how dumb the Buffs’ fans might be, they’re a serious threat to go into Columbia and pull out the upset. A big day by Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert makes all those worries go away.
Prediction: Missouri by 3 – Bet Now
Odds: Colorado: +12.5 – Missouri: -12.5 – Over/Under: 52

#10 Utah @ Iowa State – 7:00 PM ET
What a great opportunity for the Cyclones. We don’t think they can win, but they can definitely make it close. Quarterback Austen Arnaud has stopped playing like it’s his first time with pads on recently, which boads well for Iowa State. Utah and quarterback Terrance Cain are tough nuts to crack.
Prediction: Utah by 15 – Bet Now
Odds: Utah: -6 – Iowa State: +6 – Over/Under: 54.5
