With bowl season fast approaching it’s easy to get caught up in the fanfare and excitement of the BCS Standings, but one last regular season game between heated rivals remains on the college football betting board.

This Saturday, bet on the end-of-year tilt between Army and Navy.
Though the 4-7 Navy Midshipmen have battled to a better record as an Independent this season, there’s no denying that the 3-8 Army Black Knights will show up ready to play when the programs clash in Washington. In Week 3, Army even took down the Northwestern Wildcats (something that not even No. 10 Wisconsin could do on Nov. 5). Now they’ll be hungry to snap their nine-game skid in the rivalry, dating back to 2001.
Expect a competitive ground game to come out of the event as the matchup pits the top rushing team in the nation against the fourth-best. The two clubs combined had a whopping 16 players rush for over 100 yards on the season, including Army leader Raymond Maples who will look to crack quadruple digits on Saturday.
Though both have accomplished ground games, Navy has a distinct, albeit minor, edge when it comes to the passing game. Believe it or not, Army has managed to go the entire season with just four passing touchdowns while Navy has thrown for 10.
Don’t expect to find Tom Brady when the two clubs meet on the NCAA betting board, but a competitive slugfest to wrap up the regular season is all but inevitable.
The odds makers have the Navy Midshipmen as a -7 point favorite with an over/under of 57.
