The Wildcats have lost three consecutive games coming into Tuesday’s Duel in the Desert against the Arizona State Sun Devils who after losing starting QB Steven Threet, tossed in backup QB Brock Osweiler who came off the bench and was brilliant against UCLA.

Oswieler will get the start on Thursday, but the Devils bowl hopes have already been lost. They could however end a very good season by thrashing their rivals from Tucson. Arizona State has shown the ability to both score and keep opponents in check but they have also been blasted on both sides of the ball at times.

It won’t be easy as the ‘Cats are one of the more balanced teams in the PAC-10 despite their defense getting hammered in the past few weeks.

If recent play is an indicator, I like the Devils by a touchdown in this one.
