2009-2010 Youngstown State Season Preview

The Penguins were competitive a year ago, even though it has been tough for them to make it out of the bottom of the Horizon League. Six of their losses last season were by five points or less, and late in the season they went on a four-game winning streak, beating Loyola and UI-Chicago on the road and UW-Green Bay and UW-Milwaukee at home. With four starters returning, Youngstown State has a chance to move up a little bit and will be shooting at baskets last seen at the Final Four played at Ford Field in Detroit. Those baskets were for sale after the championship, and YSU bought them for use in the Beeghly Center.
