Wisconsin Badgers vs Wofford Terriers Preview & Prediction
Wisconsin is a team that plays above its talent. They don’t hurt themselves and do little things well. Patience is their virtue, as they will wait for an opportunity and can pace the game. After Taylor moved to point guard they flourished, but it was against lesser teams so it remains to be seen if they can play the big game. Hughes is quick and Bohannon is a solid scorer. Once Leuer returned from injury things started to gel.
Wofford is a deep team who play defensively to make up for offensive shortcomings. They will look to keep the game close and find a way to overcome their size. They have grit having played a tough schedule, and so will not look overwhelmed. The Terriers are a guard led team with some three point ability. Mike Young likes to be aggressive and use the bench to keep everyone fresh. Look for a low scoring game with lots of free throws.
The odds makers have the Badgers as -10 -point favorites.
I expect Wisconsin to get the win here with solid defense in a low scoring affair.
