2010-2011 Western Michigan Season Preview

David Kool, who seemed like he played for the Broncos since the mid-1970s, finally finished up his great career, clearing the lane for forwards Henard Whitfield and Nate Hutcheson to emerge as team leaders. The Broncos will look to guard David Brown to take up some of the scoring slack created by the loss of Kool. Point guard Mike Douglas made strides initiating the offense, but he’s still plagued by uneven play at times. Still, coach Steve Hawkins likes his potential. With the graduation of swingman Martelle McLemore and center Donald Lawson, starting spots will be up for grabs and junior Muhammed Conteh could become a contender.
