2009-2010 UC Davis Season Preview
The Aggies had three all-conference players and won the program’s first ever Big West Tournament game, but the team did struggle down the stretch with five losses in the final six games. Two of those players – juniors Mark Payne and Joe Harden – return. But coach Gary Stewart is going to need more low-post scoring and his squad is going to have to play much better defense if it is going to make a serious run. Stewart may have his best class of newcomers (including eligible redshirts) and the Aggies are going to need immediate quality contributions from some of those players.
