2010-2011 Southeast Missouri State Season Preview

Southeast Missouri State struggled under firstyear coach Dickie Nutt, but this season will be a little bit of a family affair as two of his sons Lucas and Logan – are on the roster. Nutt also worked the recruiting trail and signed five junior college players who are all expected to contribute right away. Nutt had the openings because he dismissed four players from last year’s roster, including guard Sam Pearson, who started 27 games and averaged nearly nine points per game. Sophomore guard Marland Smith returns after leading the Redhawks in scoring with 10.8 points per game in his rookie campaign.
