2010-2011 San Francisco Season Preview

Three overtime wins rescued a WCC season going south and got the surprising Dons into the first division last season. But they might prepare to take a baby step back without Dior Lowhorn, who led them in scoring in 60 of the 91 games he played at USF. The transfer of guard Kwame Vaughn hurts as well, though he was central to the Dons’ problems in taking care of the ball But now there’s an experience issue – and all six recruits are freshmen. The most intriguing of those is Marko Petrovic, the nephew of the late NBA sharpshooter Drazen Petrovic – and a long-range marksman himself.
