2010-2011 Princeton Season Preview

You have to go back to 2004 for the last time the Tigers’ storied program won the Ivy League title and played in the NCAA Tournament. This season’s team has a chance to end the drought. Although the Tigers need to develop interior play, they might have the league’s best backcourt in Doug Davis and Dan Mavraides, their leading scorers each of the past two seasons. They also have an excellent trio of forwards in Ian Hummer, Kareem Maddox and Patrick Saunders. Coach Sydney Johnson’s squad gained postseason experience by reaching the College Basketball Invitational semifinals last season.
