Pacific 2009-2010 Record: 23-12 overall; 12-4 Big West (Tie/1st)

Pacific Coach: Bob Thomason – At Pacific: 387-275, 22 years; overall: 439-302, 26 years

Pacific Players to Watch: Allen Huddleston performed very well in a supporting role as a freshman and could be the Big West’s best guard before he runs out of eligibility.

Pacific Key Losses:Joe Ford, G, 6-6, 210 (6.9 ppg, 5.5 rpg); Michael Nunnally, F, 6-8, 225 (7.6 ppg, 4.3 rpg)

2010-2011 Pacific Season Preview

Despite losing their top four scorers from the year before, the Tigers won at Least 20 games for the sixth time in seven seasons last spring. With a strong group of seniors providing the foundation, seven of eight sounds about right in Bob Thomason’s 23rd season as his alma mater’s coach. Alot of skilled post players have played for Thomason, and Sam Willard falls neatly into the upper-echelon of that category. The Tigers will need another post player to get quality minutes and the most intriguing option in that regard is 7-1 JC transfer Rundell Mauge, who blocked four shots per game, but is still a work in progress offensively. Joe Ford’s defense and Leadership will be sorely missed.
