2009-2010 Ohio Season Preview
The MAC can be brutal on first-year coaches, and John Groce was no exception. Even with a lot of experience returning last season, the Bobcats struggled. With only two starters returning the Bobcats will struggle once again, but if Groce keeps stockpiling recruits like he did this season, Ohio won’t be down for long. The biggest name is Ivo Baltic, who should move into the starting lineup alongside the underrated backcourt tandem of Steven Coleman and Tommy Freeman, who are both solid defenders. Some of the other returnees – like DeVaughn Washington – will see more playing time but will be pushed by the newcomers.
