2010-2011 Northern Colorado Season Preview
Taking a program from the worst RPI in America to 25 wins last season earned Tad Boyle a new gig at Colorado – and assistant B.J. Hill a promotion. Hill has a fine nucleus back in sharpshooting guard Devon Beitzel and rugged forwards Taylor Montgomery and Mike Proctor, though the Bears will miss Yahosh Bonner, the Sky’s best lockdown defender. No other Big Sky team is as capably deep up front as the Bears, who get better in that area with Emmanuel Addo coming off a redshirt season, but they must settle on a point guard.
