2009-2010 Montana State Season Preview

The Bobcats more than made up for a sub-par regular season in March. After barely garnering the sixth and final berth into the Big Sky Tournament, the Bobcats upset rival Montana on the road and then No. 1 seed Weber State on its home court. In the title game, MSU came oh-so- close before falling to Portland State, 79-77. For his work, coach Brad Huse was awarded a three-year contract extension. More good news in Bozeman: The Bobcats return four starters, led by leading scorer Will Bynum, and fellow double digit scorer Bobby Howard. The loss of first-team all-conference post OivaLdo Mbunga is a huge one, however.
