2010-2011 Manhattan Season Preview

The Jaspers lose five of their top six scorers from last season, but change might not be the worst thing for this program. Even Manhattan’s lone returning starter – big man Andrew Gabriel – hardly ranks among the top forwards in the league. Basically, Manhattan needs an influx of talent. Mohamed Koita, a 6-4 swingman from France who became eligible in the latter part of the 2009-10 season, looks like a solid MAAC player. But the Jaspers will need more than a few of their younger players to develop quickly if they hope to avoid another finish near the bottom of the league.
