Max Good is the schoors fifth coach in 10 years, a testament to the staggering lack of leadership that has resulted in the Lions averaging 20 losses per season during that time – the nadir being last year’s 3-28, though they did show some life the final month. Now transfers Larry Davis (Seton Hall) and Drew Viney (Oregon) are eligible, and leading scorer Vernon Teel should be whole after a broken foot sidelined him for half of last season. Sophomores Jarred DuBois and Kevin Young are potential WCC stars, but as a team, the Lions were among the nation’s worst at shooting, rebounding … well, at everything, and it wasn’t all youth.
