2010-2011 Louisiana Lafayette Season Preview

Bob Marlin replaces Robert Lee (80-100 in six seasons), breathing new life into a program beset by losing in recent years. The loss of SBC Player of the Year Tyren Johnson, – who led the Ragin’ Cajuns in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks – hurts. But the next four highest scorers return from a team that surprisingly didn’t lose a conference home game despite multiple injuries and suspensions. Plus, there is plenty of experience in the returning reserves, as Courtney Wallace and La’Ryan Gary – both of whom received medical redshirts – and Travis Bureau combined for 59 starts the past two seasons.
