2009-2010 Louisiana Lafayette Season Preview

Louisiana-Lafayette had grand plans in 2008-09 after returning almost everyone from its first-place team the previous season. However, the injury plagued Ragin’ Cajuns fell flat, with an embarrassing 1-13 road record, and were the only home team to lose a first-round conference tournament game. Although he returns 11 contributors including three double-figure scorers – it will take a collective effort for coach Robert Lee to keep his job after posting one winning conference record in four seasons. Lee, whose status was in question for two weeks at season’s end before the university announced he’d be retained, added Nate Dixon (ULM, New Orleans) and James Williams (Lee’s teammate at Nicholls State) to his staff.
