2009-2010 Kent State Season Preview
The Golden Flashes have been the league’s best team for the better part of the past decade. They have figured out how to win in the MAC: Bring in junior college talent and land a few sleepers from high school. Second-year coach Geno Ford will be tested once again after losing Al Fisher, but he does return Chris Singletary and Tyree Evans. Evans, the one-time Maryland signee, could be in line for a big season after coming off the bench last year. Akey addition is guard Rodriquez Sherman, who missed all of last season with a knee injury but could be the best perimeter defender in the conference.
