2009-2010 George Mason Season Preview
The Patriots lose three of their top four scorers, but should adapt quite well as three freshmen and two juniors saw key minutes last season. Louis Birdsong and Cam Long should be the table setters. Birdsong has an all-around post presence, while Long led George Mason in scoring and was second in rebounding and 3-point field goals. Point guard Andre Cornelius averaged 18.8 minutes per game Last season behind Dre Smith and should inherit his role. Michael Morrison and Ryan Pearson will join Birdsong as prime candidates to pick up for Darryl Monroe, who led the CAA in field-goal percentage last season.
