2010-2011 Florida International Season Preview

The fruits of coach Isiah Thomas’ first full recruiting season are head-turning, starting with 6-8, 209-pound forward Dominique Ferguson (a consensus Top-60 recruit with a 7-3 wingspan). Phil Taylor, one of the Top-60 high school point guards, would be the headliner in the majority of Sun Belt recruiting classes, but he is just one of many impact newcomers, including transfers Alex Legion (Kentucky, Illinois) and Brandon Moore (Arkansas). The Golden Panthers need a few of these guys to defend considering they allowed conference highs in scoring (77.4 points per game) and field-goal percentage (48.4) last year.
