2010-2011 Eastern Kentucky Season Preview

Justin Stommes can do a little bit of everything and coach Jeff Neubauer will need every bit of it for the Colonels to duplicate last season’s 20-win campaign. It was expected to be a rebuilding year for Eastern Kentucky, but Stommes averaged 14.2 points per game and the Colonels finished in a three-way tie for third place in the league. Eastern Kentucky played in the postseason and played host to the College of Charleston in the College Basketball Invitational. The Colonels lost, but still set a school record for home wins with 15. Joshua Jones is also returning in the backcourt and with New Orleans dropping to Division III, transfer guard Devin McDonald is eligible this season.
