Dayton was supposed to be the beast of the Atlantic 10 this year and if they finish the season strong they may still be as they have games against the top two teams in the league in Temple tonight and Richmond next week, both on the road. It will not be easy to walk into Philly to beat the Owls. To do so they will rely on their strengths, team defense and a double dose of the Chris’ – Wright and Johnson. These forward’s stat lines are almost identical. Neither is very big but they score and rebound effectively. Chris Wright is one of the most athletic players in America and can make your jaw drop in a hurry.

In the rough and tumble A-10 the Temple Owls are getting it done with defense. They give up only 57.8ppg (6th in the country) and have enough size and length to make any team uncomfortable. Power forward Lavoy Allen continues to improve and is one of the few players in the country averaging a double-double. The Owls are perfect at home in conference play and will look to continue that streak and improve their RPI with another quality win. This is their toughest contest remaining before the A-10 tournament in Atlantic City. If they win out and win the conference tourney they could easily be looking at a number two seed. Nobody wants to play these guys.

This will be a very intense game between two teams that are familiar with each other and have a lot at stake. It is hard to play against the Owls at home even thought the superlative Chris Wright could be a real difference maker. There is not much value in the line here.
