2010-2011 Davidson Season Preview

Life after Stephen Curry saw Davidson rebuild with seven freshmen and sophomores contributing to the attack. Undaunted, coach Bob McKillop was still able to forge 16 wins out of the Wildcats and a third-place spot in the SoCon South. Apair of rising 2010-11 sophomores in J.P. Kuhlman and Jake Cohen led the Wildcats in scoring. Cohen averaged 16.5 points and six rebounds in his last six games while Kuhlman, who shot 41.5 percent from the 3-point line, garnered SoCon Freshman of the Year honors. McKillop’s son, Brendan, gives the Wildcats a “Big Three” flavor. He had a 2.7-to1 assist-to-turnover ratio and will undoubtedly be counted on as a key leader in his fourth season.
