Dartmouth Players to Watch: Shooting guard R.J. Griffin is coming off a solid freshman season despite being hampered by a broken hand. He could solve some of the Big Green’s scoring woes.

2010-2011 Dartmouth Season Preview

With the return of Paul Cormier, who enjoyed coaching success in Hanover during the 1980s, the Big Green have reached backward with the hope of moving forward. He faces a rebuilding job, although four starters return this season. Shooting guard Ronnie Dixon came on strong during Ivy play last season and will be the leader for an offensively challenged team (54 ppg). If there is a ray of hope, it’s that the Big Green play hard defensively, with workman like Clive Weeden giving them a presence in the middle. Cormier brings in a seven-member freshman class.
