2010-2011 Cleveland State Season Preview
Last season wasn’t quite the year the Vikings expected coming off a Horizon League championship, but coach Gary Waters certainly has CSU headed in the right direction after years of mediocrity. The leader of the suddenly considerabLe Vikes is Norris Cole, a senior guard who not only made all-league as a junior, but was one of the few college point guards to be invited to the Deron Williams Skills Academy in Chicago over the summer. With no seniors on last year’s team, the Vikings are expected to contend this winter, but also expect to see a bigger lineup on the floor. While four guards will play some of the time, two freshmen – 6-8 Devon Long and 6-9 Ludovic Ndaye – are expected to get plenty of time.
