2010-2011 Arkansas State Season Preview
The Red Wolves’ entire starting lineup was intact before Atlanta native Brandon Reed (Freshman of the Year, second-team selection) transferred to Georgia Tech over the summer. They’ll end up trading out one high-major player for another, as Oklahoma State transfer Malcoln Kirkland is eligible after sitting out last season. ASU has shot under 45 percent from the field and under 68 percent from the line in John Brady’s first two seasons, so that needs to change. But if the Red Wolves’ rebounding margin and field-goal percentage defense – both second in the league – continue to thrive, Brady may just have another NCAA berth in his hand.
