2009-2010 Arkansas State Season Preview
The Red Wolves played 14 games decided by six points or less in coach John Brady’s inaugural campaign. Arkansas State couldn’t shoot from the field (43 percent) or the line (68 percent), but was good enough defensively and on the glass to hang close. The trend spiraled out of control late, as the Red Wolves lost their final 10 games. With leading rebounder and shot-blocker Eric McKinney and reserve Brandon Ayers officially off the team as of April, Arkansas State welcomes back just five contributors. But leading scorer Donald Boone returns, redshirt freshman Trey Finn (foot) will make his highly anticipated debut and recruits Brandon Reed and Brandon Peterson headline a terrific class.
