UCLA are on a downward spiral and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be getting better any time soon. Injuries, suspensions, and consecutive blowout losses have pretty much put a lid on anything for the Bruins beyond early December.
The Wildcats however are in thick of it stringing together two wins in a row by whipping the Huskies last weekend without their starting quarterback. Back up Matt Scott had a tremendous outing with a little help from the PAC-10’s best defense. The Wildcats have held opponents to less than 15 points five times this season, and has held UCLA under that same mark in the last two of its three consecutive wins in the series.
It’s hard to imagine the Bruins improving enough in just one week to overcome a better overall offense and suffocating ‘Cats defense.
