Detroit has to feel a little snake bit after its first two games as the Lions could very easily be coming into this game 2-0. They lost to Chicago on a last second touchdown reception that was later ruled incomplete and they stormed all the way back from a 35-17 deficit against Philadelphia only to come up short by three points.
Minnesota looks to be in serious trouble without its top to receivers and a quarterback that is suddenly starting to show his age. Vikings QB Brett Favre has only completed 58.7 percent of his passes and has already thrown four interceptions against just one TD.
The Lions have a great chance not only to keep this game close but to come away with an outright win against a Vikings team that could very easily spiral out of control if they get off to another bad start in this game.
